Senior Systems Engineer (Job ID: 12-05)

Lakota Technical Solutions, Inc. has immediate need for a Senior Systems Engineer to assist with the development of next generation Command and Control systems. Candidates should possess significant experience associated with developing and deploying command and control systems, radar surveillance systems, sonar systems or electronic warfare systems. The position will require regular attendance at meetings in Washington Metro area with the potential for infrequent minimum travel outside of the metro area. The position may enable the employee to telecommute based upon weekly tasking requirements.

This individual will be required to perform a variety of tasks including:

System architecture and requirements definition and review
System performance analysis
New Technology assessments
System interoperability assessment
Engineering Change Proposal Review
Participate in Systems Engineering IPTs
Participate in program management related meetings
Preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
Test plan generation
Training material development

Additionally, successful applicants may be required to support new business initiatives, including proposal development, program planning, and direct client interfacing. The candidate(s) chosen must be willing to be placed in a technical leadership role while working as a contributing member of a development team.

Qualifications:

8+ years experience developing/deploying military systems
Bachelor's Degree in any engineering discipline, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics
Experience with Systems Engineering across full acquisition lifecycle, particularly with regards to DoD systems
Good written and verbal communication skills
